Westernaires Line Dancing

The Line dancing started back in 1990 with Carl Edwards and his family as a fun get together with some friends, it proved to be a popular form of dance and therefore we started up a small club called The Westernaires. As time progressed more and more people became interested in this form of dance as you don't need a partner to dance with.
Carl was very quick at learning the dances and later decided to become a qualif
ied dance instructor he gained his qualification to teach Line and Western Partner dancing with the U.K.A. teachers of dance. since the beginning we have done loads of work for charities ie. Children in Need, Cancer charities, The Christian Lewis Trust, The British Heart Foundation, and many local charities.
Line dance is fun and a good form of mild exercise for all ages, the music is good country and western also these days you can do it to pop music as well. Line dancing is still very popular today as it was back in 1990.
The Westernaires still run a dance class at the R.A.F.A. Club in Aberystwyth on Tuesday night at 7.30pm all welcome to come and have a go.
